VADrum2 is a virtual analog drum machine available for iPhone, iPad, and Mac devices. The software comprises a drum synthesizer, a variety of effects, and a sequencer. The drum synthesizer boasts 27 different voices, with 23 being virtual analog modules and 4 functioning as sample playback modules, drawing inspiration from the renowned analog drum machines of the 1980s. Effects integrated into VADrum2 encompass delay, chorus, flanger, reverb, EQ, and compressor functionalities. The sequencer component allows users to craft 16-bar patterns per clip while offering parameter automation capabilities. Project files can be stored conveniently on iCloud Drive. VADrum2 is versatile and can operate both as a standalone application and as an Audio Unit Extension (AUv3). When used as a standalone tool, it supports Ableton Link, Bluetooth MIDI connectivity, as well as MIDI input and output.
